The baryta coating of Gold Fibre Silk provides a smooth surface and stops the ink from penetrating into and degrading the paper base. Ilford Gold Fibre Silk has a very high D-max, this paper rivals traditional black & white photographic prints. Weight: 310gsm - Opacity: 95% - Caliper: 315 microns (12.4 mil) - Tint (Lab) 97.0, -0.5, 0.2 - Gloss: 20% (60°). This photo paper is very popular with photographers for its similarities to darkroom lab photo papers produced in chemical photo labs.
